Beatle John Lennon and his performance artist bride Yoko Ono continued their experimental recordings with “Wedding Album,” their third album of avant-garde sounds. The album was intended to celebrate/chronicle their well publicized courtship, jet setting, and “Bed-In For Peace” staged during their March 1969 honeymoon. Never ones to shy away from publicity the pair recognized that their honeymoon would be of interested to reporters so they invited media from around the world into their honeymoon suite and conducted around the clock interviews.
